Scholarships
Professional Reimbursement Program
Six (6) professional reimbursements up to $500.00 will be awarded, per calendar year, to dues paying ACMEA members upon completion of course work/training that enhances his/her professional career. Scholarships will be awarded as a reimbursement for tuition costs (excluding all other expenses). The money will be awarded once the dues paying ACMEA member completes the course work and/or training. Proof of payment must accompany all applications.
Who may apply: Any dues paying member of ACMEA may apply for the scholarship. The applicant must be a dues paying member of ACMEA for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the date of the application. Applications will be accepted throughout the year. Scholarships will be awarded twice a year. Applications for the January award must be received by December 31 of the preceding year; applications for the July award must be received by June 30 of that calendar year. Three scholarships will be awarded in January; three scholarships will be awarded in July.

Valerie Louie Scholarship Program
Six (6) $500.00 scholarships will be awarded, per calendar year, to dependent children of dues paying members of ACMEA. These scholarships must be used for study at an accredited college or trade school located in the United States.
The scholarship amount will not exceed $500.00.
Who may apply: The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or trade school located in the United States. The parent/relative of the applicant must be a dues paying member of ACMEA for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the date the application. Children of deceased members of ACMEA are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The parent of the applicant must have been a dues paying member of ACMEA for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the date of death. Individuals may apply for a scholarship annually, but may only receive one (1) scholarship per calendar year. Applications will be accepted throughout the year. Scholarships will be awarded two times per year. Applications for the January award must be received by December 31 of the preceding year; applications for the July award must be received by June 30 of that calendar year.

ACMEA Heroes

If selected, the ACMEA Hero will receive an award, be showcased in our upcoming newsletter, and is eligible for a $100 gift card. You and the nominee must be dues-paying members.
