Committee members are appointed by the President and subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
Election Committee (2023) (Standing Committee)

Finance Committee (Standing Committee)
Chair: Diana Gatlin (Social Services Agency/Confidential Unit)
Contact Committee
The Finance Committee shall be responsible for preparing an annual budget and presenting it to the Executive Board for approval at the October meeting. This committee shall be limited to four (4) members.
Membership Committee (Special Committee)
Chair: Deidra Perry (Social Services Agency/General Unit)
Contact Committee
The Membership Committee shall be responsible for the identification and orientation of new management personnel to include a summary of the benefits of membership and necessary application information, as well as the ongoing retention of existing members. This committee would like a minimum of one member from each bargaining unit.
Legislative and Political Action Committee (Standing Committee)

The Legislative and Political Action Committee shall be responsible for the evaluation of legislation action, salaries, benefits, and working conditions of the members of the Association. This evaluation shall include the drafting of position letters and recommendations to this Executive Board. PAC committee shall consist of all members of the Executive Board and any additional ACMEA members appointed by the President with the approval of the Board. This committee shall be responsible for receiving, and reviewing all requests for political endorsements and contributions and making recommendations to the Executive Board. This committee shall be limited to four (4) members.
Professional Development Committee (Standing Committee)
Chair: Crystal Barton (Probation/Probation Managers)
Contact Committee
The Professional Development Committee shall be responsible for an ongoing program to research, evaluate and inform the membership of new and existing opportunities relating to their personal and professional development as managers. This committee shall be limited to four (4) members.
Labor Relations Committee (Standing Committee)
The Labor Relations Committee shall be responsible for overseeing and pursuing all labor relations matters as directed by the Board of Directors for the purposes of wages, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment (including policies). This committee shall handle all meet and confers and negotiations for their specific bargaining units.
