Alameda County - Fix Our Pay!
On September 19, 2023, I presented our petition (shown below) at the weekly Alameda County Board of Supervisors meeting. The petition, signed by 500 ACMEA members, asked Alameda County to fix the recruitment and retention problems at the County by implementing market-leading wages and benefits - not just the average salary of the surrounding counties! In addition to my testimony, six dedicated ACMEA members also expressed their concerns on the issue.
