I am Angela Ball, the Director of Public Health Nursing of the Public Health Department in the Health Care Services Agency. I have been in my role for about 13 years, and I am seeking your vote to be elected to the position of Vice President of ACMEA. I want to work with ACMEA’s Board of Directors, and members to collectively advocate for and promote a future in which all members receive effective support, respect, equitable salaries and benefits, and optimal working conditions. It is only through unions that workers have been able to obtain the wages they receive, have good and safe working conditions, fair treatment and significant retirement benefits.
