I started my professional career with the Superior Courts of California 30 years ago when I became a Certified Shorthand Reporter for the State of California. During my San Francisco Superior Court career, I held various positions for the San Francisco Official Court Reporters Association (SFOCRA) from 2005 to 2018. I was a member of the Bargaining Team and negotiated several contracts with the Court. I also served on the Labor Management Committee.
In 2018 I began my career with the Superior Court of California County of Alameda as one of two Managing Court Reporters, supervising the Court Reporter Unit.
My experience in the courtroom as a court reporter, serving on the SFOCRA board, and my current position in Alameda have prepared me for serving as the Director Representing the Superior Courts. Keeping all members' interests at the forefront allows us to do our job as board members fairly and impartially.
